arson!

the sun, high in the sky, 

was shaped like a golden apple pie!

and slowly it began to fall

straight into the city mall

all the people and bugs

watched the rugs

burn!

in the bright sunlight. 

it went on until night

then the fires went away.

but they would return another day 

possibly in may

just not today, which was a shame.
